Based on a comic book by Charles Soule, the series revolves around a newly-elected president, Stephen Blades, who learns of a secret mission for first contact that was launched by his predecessor and is about to end. Jonathan Mostow of Terminator 3 will write, executive produce, and direct the pilot. Eric Gitter of Scott Pilgrim is also producing.
